Presentation Regarding Extension of the City of Arlington Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone #1 - Downtown

 

Representatives from the City of Arlington will address Commissioners Court regarding the status and extension of the Arlington Tax Increment Financing Reinvestment Zone #1 - Downtown TIRZ, and proposed County participation in funding of additional TIRZ projects.

 

 

B.

Legislative Issues

 

The Commissioners Court will receive a weekly update concerning legislative activities of the Texas Legislature, along with Federal Government initiatives. Staff will provide materials that summarize the previous week’s activities, county legislative initiatives and other issues relating to legislative activities. If needed, the Commissioners Court may take action regarding pending legislative issues. This will be a standing item on the Court’s agenda until the close of the session.
